The secretary of 5th  poetry festival, Yahya Talebian said that Bandar Abbas, the capital of Hormozgan province in South Iran will host the opening ceremony of the 5th Fajr International Poetry Festival.

Talebian told reporters that the policy making council of the 5th Fajr International Poetry Festival chose Bandar Abbas as this edition's host considering its great seasonal weather during the ceremony(winter).

Mahmoud Ekrami-far is chosen as the festival's deputy.

Similar to the previous editions, Mostafa Omidi will be the festival's executive secretary.

The 4th Fajr International Poetry Festival was inaugurated in Iran’s southern city of Bushehr last year.
