The first festival of urban photos and postcards will be held in Tehran today and will continue until September 29.The festival will be organized by Tehran Municipality’s Social and Cultural Deputy in cooperation with the House of Iranian Photographers and the guild association of Iranian graphic designers.

The goals of the festival include giving identity to some buildings and symbols in Tehran by displaying top works which combine urban symbols and buildings with traditions of ancient Norouz ceremony and Islamic values.
The organizers say that taking advantage of urban elements and symbols in photos, graphical designs and paintings in a way to indicate their national and Islamic identity is the main approach of the festival.
