Akkad Prize for Laila’s Birthday

Director Rashid Masharawi’s “Laila’s Birthday” won Moustapha Akkad Prize of the 27th International Fajr Film Festival.
“Laila’s Birthday”, an entry of the Eastern Vista section, is produced by Tunisia, Palestine and the Netherlands in 2008.
The movie is the story of man struggling to reach home on time for his daughter’s birthday.
