Golden Flag, Golden Pheonix and Turquoise Way, are the titles of new awards specified by the organizers of Fajr film festival to be given in this year's festival.

The news was spelled out by Esfandiari the festival's secretary in this years canne film festival and he invited international and Muslim film makers to participate in the event.

Golden Flag is the title of the festival given to the same prize under the name of Mustafa Eqad which was given in last years Fajr film festival, but it has been named new so it can contain more films in this category. The aim of the new award is to attract a respectfull and more friendly look to the Islamic World.

The award is an amount of 8000$ for the best work.

Turquoise way is the name of new award and will be given to films focusing on the members of the ECO countries.

Golden Pheonix is an award specified to films realting Asian countries together.
