The 28th edition of the Fajr Film Festival is adding two more Crystal Simorghs to its previous awards.

According to the new regulations of the festival, the crystal simorghs will be awarded to the best short film  and best feature animations participating in the festival.

The Animation Festival is independently being held annually in Tehran. In addition, five more days are being added to the 10-day program this year. The festival has been divided into sections for Iran’s cinema and international cinema.

The international section will open on January 28 and end on February 1, and Iran’s cinema will open on February 1 and will run until February 11.
