Iran’s Experimental and Documentary Film Center (EDFC) plans to hold the first film festival on the Persian Gulf in late autumn on Kish Island.

The EDFC director Shafi Aqamohmmadian said that the center aims to hold the Iran’s Cinema Vérité Festival as well this year. The festival will be held in multiple sections, including feature film, documentary and animations.

It will focus on various aspects of the Persian Gulf including geopolitics, ecosystem and natives living in port cities, and art and music of the region,
