The 4th Cinéma Vérité Festival, an Iranian international event dedicated to documentary films, kicked off here on Sunday at Tehran’s Sepideh Theater Hall where the venue was also introduced as a theater dedicated to documentaries.

Documentary and Experimental Film Center( DEFC) director Aqamohammadian asked the officials to pay due attention to cultural unity in his opening speech. “The center has prepared application forms for the filmmakers to fill out. They are asked to write down

their suggestions and mention the names of the movies they would like to see screened in this theater,” he said.

Docs from different countries including Turkey, Sweden, Canada, U.S., Argentina, France, Germany, China and Brazil will go on screen during the festival that runs from November 8 to 12 in Tehran.
