TEHRAN -- Tehran will hold the music festival named “Sound of Love Word” focusing on the stature and thoughts of Imam Khomeini late September concurrent with the anniversary of Imam’s birthday on September 24.

The week-long program will review 30 years of music produced on Imam Khomeini and his thoughts and will be held in three different sections of classic, traditional, and pop, said art advisor of the Institute for the Compilation and Publication of Imam Khomeini’s Works (ICPIMW) Ali Asghar Sa’adati.

Several of Tehran’s cultural centers and halls will be hosting the festival in which the participants will compete. Works will be judged by a team of well-known musicians, he noted.

He also added that the top selected works will later be performed live for the public.

The statement for the applicants will soon be released by the institute in the near future, Sa’adati concluded.
