According to the festivals website:The 1st International Festival of university students Visual Arts is an outcome of unceasing scholarly and research activities of the art community conveners, According to its range and variety in expert and super-expert areas, it can be considered as a comprehensive and unique event in the academic community. General rules: There is no limitation on the technique and the usage of the materials in all parts. There is no limitation on the size of the work in all parts. Individual or group works are invited with no restriction regarding age or nationality. Works previously awarded at the other festivals will not be accepted in competition part. The techniques and creations which are based on national or native arts of all the countries will be appreciated. There is no limitation regarding novel ways in expression and structure. There is no entry fee for all parts All university students may participate in this festival. The committee will provide insurance cover for all work in its possession and during the return journey of works to the applicant's address.
Particular Rules The parts which are not mentioned here should follow the General Rules. Research • The articles should be related to the concept of spirituality or the goals and attitude of the festival. • Each main article has to have a maximum of 25 pages or 6000 words in English, with the images in JEPG or TIFF format. • Deliver the abstract and the main article in 3 copies on A4 paper (one side of paper), accompanied with a CD. • The abstract should be 150-300 words, with a maximum of 5 keywords • The articles previously published in ISC/ISI will not be taken into the competition, but will be appreciated in another (neighboring) part.
Sculpture • Complete application forms plus proposal form 2 • Photograph the model from at least 3 different direction :1 front that shows the entire piece and 2 different angles of your choice or more
Modern Art Follow the sculpture rules In this part if you need any especial place, time or any other materials which regards to the festival committee, please attach extra explanation to the proposal form 2
Assessment and Selection An initial selection based on Pictures, slides, and movies will be taken by the assessment committee before entering the exhibition. The successful applicants from the initial selection process will be invited to submit their work(s) for entering the final assessment. The committee will contact the artists to ask them to submit the original work. Deliverables: First reception: delivering the image of the works with a high quality (a maximum of 5 works in each part). Second reception: asking the accepted artists to submit the original work or a picture of the work in a manner that it can be exhibited.

Awards and privileges • The author of selected works will be invited to Iran • Festival's tablet and cash prizes will be donated to the selected works • The picture of some works will be exhibited in the international part. • All the accommodation charges will be paid by the festival committee
