Tajik play grabs grand prize at 27th Fajr Theater Festival |

Tajikistan’s “Rustam and Sohrab” by Sultan Usmanov grabbed the grand prize of the 27th International Fajr Theater Festival, and Iran’s “Fox Hunting” by Ali Rafiei took the special award
The winners of the international section of the 27th edition of the gala were announced in a closing ceremony held at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall
According to Tehran Times,
Following is the list of winners at the international section
Best Music: Ankido Darash “Metabolic” Iran
Stage and Costume Design: Stefan Weber “The Castle” Germany
Actress: Anais Richetta “The Imaginary Invalid” France
Actor: Qorban Saber “Rustam and Sohrab” Tajikistan.
Director: Tomas Schweigen “The Castle” Germany
The ceremony ended with a performance of a short play by actress Pantea Bahram on the central issue of Gaza by director Mohammad Heidari
This year’s festival was held from January 21 to 30 at a number of different theaters in Tehran |
